It is planned to increase investment in nuclear energy and renewable energy sources, promote the subject and encourage people to use low-carbon technologies.
Tim Yeo, chairman of Parliament’s energy and climate change select committee, commented that the introduction of toll, based on the amount emission by the vehicle and the length of the journey, could have an impact on the use of more sustainable transport modes and reduce emissions.
