Most large oil and gas companies consider climate change programs as an important part of their corporate strategy.

 Ernst & Young conducted a survey at 300 executives of largest companies from 16 countries and 18 industries. They were investigated with their plans for the future in the context of climate change. About 85% of respondents from oil and gas industry said that they have a plan for managing the company in the context of climate change or are planning to implement such.
