Send messageAs a result of an agreement concluded in June 2010 by Professor Andrzej Kraszewski, Polish Minister of the Environment, and Ms. Connie Hedegaard, the EU Commissioner for Climate Action, the newly built power generation blocks totalling up-to 15 000 MW in Poland will be granted free emission allowances. This regards the power plants, the construction of which was begun before the end of December 2008.
